San Sebastian offers quiet spots of green amidst the hustle and bustle of the city life. These peaceful spots of botanical heaven enable you to just breathe in the fresh air and rest from your hectic activities.
This garden is part of the homage being paid to Admiral Antonio de Okendo, whose statue proudly stands in the garden. The bronze cannons which were instrumental in his glorious feats were used to make this statue. The garden is a pretty place, as it has two superb buildings beside it – the Victoria Eugenia Theater and the Maria Cristina Hotel. The garden is a tranquil spot that overlooks the river.
