San Sebastian City Guide

The key in getting to know the city of San Sebastian is to know its different district. These districts (or barrios) have distinct personalities and qualities that endear them to the tourists.

Here are the districts featured in the San Sebastian City Guide:

• City Center : Located at the Plaza del Buen Pastor, this presents some of the best shopping streets in the city.
• Old Quarter: This district marks the foundation of the city. Today, this offers a treasure trove of historic buildings, specialty shops and tapas bars.
  
• Gros District: This is the more affluent and picturesque part of the city and is where the Zurriola beach is located.
  
• Zona Romantica: This is called thus because it reminds some of the streets in Paris: very romantic.
